EDJ Approach to Service Delivery
Based on the lessons learned through our experience,
we have developed a core set of principles that have
proven highly effective as guides for shaping our
approach to project planning and service delivery.
These principles include:
- Collaboration. We view every assignment we
undertake as a collaborative effort driven by
the requirements of our clients. In developing
work plans and schedules, we place a priority
on defining regular opportunities for
consultation, review, and feedback. We use a
variety of approaches to achieve the ideal level
of communication and information exchange,
such as planning meetings, submission of
progress drafts, project reports, and ongoing
informal discussion. Our objective is to ensure
that the services provided meet or exceed
client expectations.
- Flexibility. In our experience, every project
has a unique character with its own set of
requirements, stakeholders, organizational
challenges, and opportunities. As a result, in
defining our approach to project
implementation, we place a premium on
development of customized solutions designed
to address identified client needs rather than
relying on the use of standard methods.
- Responsiveness. We understand that
projects tend to be dynamic, and that needs
often change over time. As part of our
planning, we make every effort to identify
potential challenges and develop contingency
plans, as appropriate. We place the highest
priority on regularly consulting with our clients
and other stakeholders with the goal of
responding in a timely manner to emerging
needs while maintaining the relevancy and
appropriateness of the project.
- Openness. As a firm, we adhere to a firm "no
surprises" policy. While we have found that
careful planning at the early stages of a project
is the best approach to supporting the timely
completion of work, we understand that
unanticipated challenges that impact
performance are sometimes unavoidable.
Rather than simply communicating a problem,
we offer alternative courses of action that can
address the challenge at hand.
- Excellence. We place a priority on
maintaining a high quality standard in all
aspects of project performance. In developing
our management approach to each task order
we undertake, we build in multiple product
reviews and define clear quality control
processes. Further, we work in close
consultation with the client to ensure that all
products and deliverables meet or exceed
expectations.
