Posters

The 2nd Annual CounterACT Network Research Symposium will feature a Poster Exhibit. All CounterACT Principle Investigators and Sub-project Principle Investigators listed on the Agenda are required to exhibit a poster at the meeting. Principle Investigators of CounterACT Centers are required to exhibit a poster only if they are also leading a sub-project. Posters should describe the content of the oral presentation and include additional information at the Investigator's discretion for the purpose of sharing information (expertise, infrastructure, exciting results) within the CounterACT Network. Please register your poster by completing the poster submission form. The deadline for submitting your poster submission form is Monday, March 24, 2008. NOTE: There will be boards available for mounting posters or papers.

Standard Policies for Poster Exhibition
  1. Please register online for poster space at the 2nd Annual CounterACT Network Research Symposium by March 24, 2008.


  2. Posters may be set-up on Monday, April 14, 2008, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The person responsible for the poster must take down the display no later than Wednesday, April 16, 2008 by 6:00 pm. Posters that are not removed will be disposed of by the hotel staff.


  3. The available poster space will consist of one (1) double-sided poster board, 4' (tall) x 8' (wide), shared by (2) grantees. Each grantee will be allowed one side of the 4' x 8' space in order to display posters, brochures or any other items of interest. Space will be assigned and issued to grantees during conference registration.


  4. Posters may be affixed to the poster boards with either Velcro or pins. Please bring the appropriate materials to ensure the poster is properly secured.


If you wish to ship poster session materials, grantees will be responsible for all shipping to and from the Embassy Suites Washington DC-Convention Center. Materials sent to the Embassy Suites Washington DC-Convention Center should arrive no earlier than three-days prior to the meeting or Saturday, April 12, 2008. All poster session materials should be addressed to:
