The Agenda is packed with workshops, panel sessions and opportunities to network, share and learn information on everything IGERT - from science to education to effective outreach to career options to making IGERTs and the IGERT program more effective and valuable.
The Aims of the IGERT Annual Meeting include learning, sharing and networking about the science, the education, career skills development and the on-the-ground workings of your IGERT and meeting Trainees! After all, Trainee, education is the focus of IGERT!
The Participants are Trainees (1 from each IGERT) and PIs or CO-PIs (1 from each IGERT), NSF personnel and NSF invited guests!
Key Times and Dates to Remember:
- May 18 - Meeting registration, poster set-up and viewing and IGERT Trainee Lounge from 4 - 8 PM. Trainees may set up their posters at this time, and they will remain on display until Monday evening at 8:00 PM.
- May 19 - All day session; Poster Session and Networking from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Trainees must take down posters no later than 8:00 pm.
- May 20 - Session ends at 12:00 PM for departure.
