2008 IGERT Project Meeting

Poster Guidelines

  1. Please register online for poster space at the 2007 IGERT Project Meeting by no later than 12:00 pm Midnight on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Poster session space is limited to 120 posters. Availability and assignment of space will be on a first-requested, first-assigned basis at a limit of 1 per IGERT.

  2. Because the Poster Hall will be in a non-secured space, no posters or displays requiring electronic connections or displaying computer equipment or expensive/irreplaceable materials can be admitted to the session.

  3. Posters may be set-up on Sunday, May 18 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and, if required, during the day on Monday May 19. The person responsible for the poster must take down the display immediately following the poster session on Monday, May 19 at 8:00 PM.

  4. The available poster space will consist of one (1) poster board, 8'(length) x 4'(width), shared by two (2) presentations. NOTE: Each presentation will be allowed one half (1/2) of the 8' x 4'space, allowing 4'x 4' for the display of posters, brochures or any other items of interest. Presenters will be sent information about their space assignments approximately one week prior to the conference.

  5. Posters may be affixed to the poster boards with either Velcro or pins. Please bring the appropriate materials to ensure the poster is properly secured.

  6. If you choose to ship your poster, presenters will be responsible to do so to and from The Westin Arlington Gateway. Materials sent to the hotel should arrive no earlier than Thursday, May 15, 2008. All poster session materials should be addressed to:
