EDJ has established a solid track record of success in the planning, design, and implementation of a wide range of projects in the areas of event planning, peer review support, and information management. At EDJ we place a priority on maintaining a high quality of standard in all aspects of project performance. We are currently seeking candidates to join our growing and fast-paced company for the following positions:
Project Director(s) (Virginia and Maryland)
Management position for candidates with 6 to 8 years of government contracting experience. Candidates should have experience managing task order contracts; be able to provide direction to project team; possess knowledge of FAR and good financial management skills; and be able to plan and organize tasks to meet multiple competing deadlines. Position requires a mature professional with strong client relationship, organizational and computer skills. Bachelor's degree required, masters preferred.
Contracts Administrator (Virginia)
Administrative position for candidates with a minimum five years of prior government contracts administration experience, including proposal preparation experience. Expert knowledge of the FAR and good procurement practice as well as strong negotiating skills. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting complex contract provisions and implementing contractual requirements, and will work with limited guidance with wide latitude for representing the company within the confines of corporate guidelines. Good judgment is needed in negotiating contracts and participating in review, analysis, and interpretation of contractual provisions. Individuals may provide technical guidance or direction to other staff as necessary. Interaction with all levels of company management and client representatives is needed. Bachelor¡¯s degree in a related field preferred or the equivalent experience.
Senior Meeting Professional (Virginia and Maryland)
Event Planning/Leadership position for mature professional with at least 3 years of experience, strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills, and ability to multi-task. Experience coordinating all logistical aspects of Federal Government conferences involving 10 to 500 participants. Prepare and monitor cost estimate, budgets, work plans, timelines and status reports. Review and reconcile meeting-related invoices. Demonstrated ability to set priorities work independently and follow through on work assignments. Must be familiar with MS applications. BA/BS Degree or applicable work experience required.
Event Coordinator (Maryland)
Assisting the Senior Meeting Professional with pre-planning, onsite support, and follow-up tasks for meetings. Organize and manages project- related databases. Candidate will be responsible for supervising administrative staff and organizing project files. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 1-year relevant work experience, strong administrative skills and demonstrate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft office.
